Travia Rental Cars

Search and book rental cars from Travia.

Your Travia plan

Overview

A separate integration from Travia Properties, for rental cars only. Connect your Travia travel-agent account and search rental cars live by pickup and drop-off location, dates, and driver — then add a chosen vehicle straight onto an itinerary and have it booked with Travia automatically when the customer checks out. Booking-cart prices are anchored to Travia’s search-rate reference so the customer always pays the rate they were quoted. Uses the same Travia API key as the Travia Properties integration.

Live rental-car search by pickup / drop-off location, dates, and driver
Vehicle details — class, seats, luggage, transmission, and image
Per-package pricing with optional extras and included coverages
Add a vehicle to any itinerary day as a rental-car product line
Booked with Travia on your behalf at checkout — one confirmed booking
Cancellations call through to Travia from the operations module
Sticky-price anchoring so the customer pays the rate they were quoted
Live + staging environments per workspace

Setup

  1. Use your Travia API key

The same Travia API access key that powers the Travia Properties integration works here — Travia scopes car-rental access to the same travel-agent account.

  2. Pick live or staging

Integrate against staging test inventory first, then switch to live. Keys are environment-specific.

  3. Validate + install

Validate the key to confirm it works and see which travel-agency identities it owns, pick the agency TripCreator should book under, and install.

  4. Search cars in the planner

In the itinerary planner, open Travia Rental Cars, enter the pickup / drop-off location, dates, and driver, then pick a vehicle and add it to the itinerary. Cars are searched live — there is no inventory to sync.

Requirements

  • An active Travia travel-agent account with car-rental access
  • Your Travia API access key (the same key the Travia Properties integration uses)
  • A Travia travel-agent identity TripCreator should book under

Travia API Terms
