TripCreator V3 vs V2: what's the difference?

TripCreator has two platforms — the current V3 and the legacy V2. Here's how they differ, which one to sign in to, and how migration works.

TripCreator Team · June 1, 2026

TripCreator runs two platforms: V3, the current generation, and V2, the previous (legacy) platform that many customers still use day to day. If you're not sure which one you're on — or which to sign in to — this guide explains the difference.

The quickest way to tell: V3 is at www.tripcreator.travel, and V2 is at account.tripcreator.io.

Which one should I sign in to?

Sign in to V3 if your workspace has been created on or migrated to the new platform — this is where new accounts live.

Sign in to V2 if you're an existing customer who hasn't migrated yet. Your V2 workspace keeps working, and you can migrate to V3 when you're ready.

What's new in V3

  • Faster, modern platform

A rebuilt, faster experience across itineraries and operations.

  • Flexible pricing & invoicing

Invoicing checkout, adaptable pricing, and streamlined billing.

  • Open API & integrations

A redeveloped open API with partners like Bókun, Travia, and Xero.

  • Improved itineraries

Enhanced duplication, versioning, and dynamic packaging.

How migration works

Pro and Enterprise plans can migrate product inventory and contacts from V2 to V3. Itineraries move forward by duplication, where you choose new start dates and rate sources during the process.
