Connect SendGrid to send marketing campaigns directly from TripCreator CRM. Setup

  1. Create a SendGrid API key

    In SendGrid, go to Settings → API Keys → Create API Key with Restricted Access and enable Mail Send, Marketing → Contacts, and Stats. Copy the key — it’s only shown once.

  2. Verify your sender identity

    In Settings → Sender Authentication, verify the email address or domain you’ll send from. Emails from an unverified address are rejected.

  3. Enter your credentials

    Paste your API key and the from-name and from-email your campaigns will use. These must match your verified sender identity.

  4. Configure the Event Webhook

    In Settings → Mail Settings → Event Webhook, set the URL shown after saving and enable Delivered, Opened, Clicked, Bounced, Unsubscribed and Spam Report — this powers real-time CRM enrichment.

Requirements

  • An active SendGrid account (free tier works for testing)
  • A SendGrid API key with Mail Send + Marketing scopes
  • A verified sender identity (domain or single sender) in SendGrid
  • Event Webhook configured in SendGrid dashboard (URL provided after setup)

SendGrid Email Policy

Only send to contacts who have explicitly consented. TripCreator enforces GDPR consent before adding anyone to a campaign; comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and local anti-spam rules.

Activate SendGrid from the App Store inside TripCreator.
