Your RateHawk contract

Overview

Connect your RateHawk (Emerging Travel Group) partner account and search hotels live by destination, dates, and guests — expand a hotel to compare room rates, add a chosen rate straight onto an itinerary, and have it booked with RateHawk automatically when the customer checks out. Hotels aren’t synced as inventory: availability and price are always a live query, so the customer pays the quote they saw, re-quoted if the rate goes stale by checkout. Installs into the sandbox by default; going live is a deliberate per-workspace toggle so real bookings are never issued by accident.

Setup

  1. Get your RateHawk API credentials

    From your RateHawk (Emerging Travel Group) partner dashboard → API settings, copy your API Key ID and API token. Sandbox credentials are issued for integration; production keys are issued after certification.

  2. Start in sandbox

    RateHawk installs against the sandbox by default so you can integrate against test data. Live issues real bookings — switch only once you hold production keys and have completed certification.

  3. Validate + install

    Validate to confirm the Key ID and token work, then install. This creates the integration with a default mapping profile.

  4. Search hotels in the planner

    In the itinerary planner, open RateHawk, enter a destination, dates, and guests, expand a hotel to see its room rates, then pick one and add it to the itinerary. Hotels are searched live — there is no inventory to sync.

Requirements

  • An active RateHawk (Emerging Travel Group) B2B partner account
  • Your RateHawk API Key ID and API token (HTTP Basic credentials)
  • Sandbox credentials to integrate first; production keys after RateHawk certification

RateHawk / ETG API Terms

RateHawk (Emerging Travel Group) is the hotel marketplace; TripCreator acts as a client of your RateHawk partner account using your API credentials. Live bookings spend your RateHawk balance and follow RateHawk's rate and cancellation policies. Integrate in the sandbox first; switch to live only after completing RateHawk's certification.
