Setup

  1. Get your Mailchimp API key

    In Mailchimp, go to Account → Extras → API Keys → Create A Key and copy the full key including the datacenter suffix (e.g. abc123-us21).

  2. Enter your API key

    Paste your Mailchimp API key. TripCreator extracts the datacenter prefix and connects to the correct Mailchimp data center automatically.

  3. Select your default audience

    Enter the Mailchimp Audience (List) ID TripCreator should use by default for campaign sending and contact sync.

  4. Set up the webhook

    In Mailchimp → Audience → Settings → Webhooks, add the URL shown here and enable Subscribes, Unsubscribes, Email changed, Cleaned and Campaign sending status for real-time CRM enrichment.

Requirements

  • An active Mailchimp account (any plan)
  • At least one Mailchimp audience (list) created
  • A Mailchimp API key from Account → Extras → API Keys
  • Webhook URL registered in Mailchimp (provided after setup)

Mailchimp Acceptable Use Policy

Permission-based marketing only — send only to contacts who opted in. TripCreator syncs only GDPR-consented contacts to Mailchimp.

Activate Mailchimp from the App Store inside TripCreator.
